Printing Efficiently & Greener

The University of East London, London South Bank University and charity Global Action Plan are working on a Green ICT project funded by JISC. The aim of the project is to investigate how barriers to Green ICT can be overcome within a HEI, especially in terms of cross-departmental working and implementing staff behavioural change programmes. We're looking at the specific issue of improving the efficiency of printing to deliver a long-term sustainable solution.

m3i Maestro

m3i, is a complete software platform for Ricoh machines. Via a solution developed using m3i, m3i Maestro, it does link to PaperCut MF which is a competitor to Pcounter, Safecom etc.

m3i Maestro is actually is a single sign-on, integrated UI (copy,scan,print etc) which does not require use of the standard ricoh UI and is customisable.

Other m3i developments include the m3i Access Module which allows remote control of Ricoh MFDs via anything with a browser e.g. PC, laptop, Smartphone.
