Print Efficiently event announced for June

Suppliers involved in all aspects of printing and finishing are preparing for a joint event in June, called Print Efficiently. The intention is to show how integration can deliver efficiencies.

This will be held over two consecutive weeks, 7 – 9 and 14 – 16 June, at the Intelligent Finishing Solutions showroom in Perivale, west London. Both Wednesdays will be open into the evenings.

Companies involved will include key partners Horizon, Kodak and Komori, together with Airtec, Kern Mailing Systems, Lake Image, MagnetNotes, Middleton Paper, Nordson, Pomeroy Press Room Products, Renz and Shuttle­worth MIS Solutions.

An open demonstration environment will offer visitors the opportunity to see how digital and litho processes can be complimentary and also compare and contrast quality and efficiencies on a variety of printing tasks, run lengths and stock types.

Pat Holloway, Kodak UK marketing manager said: 'This is about strong partners working together to support print companies and advise them on ways of growing their business. This event will give the printer the opportunity to glean ideas and tips on improving efficiencies on a job from origination to completion. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a complete workflow with jobs arriving via our web to print solution Storefront through the digital and litho process to binding and finishing.'

Bryan Godwyn, joint managing director of Intelligent Finishing Solutions, said: ‘For us this event is the perfect complement to Northprint; it is highly solution-focused and, because we have the benefit of such a wide resource base and more time available, it means that visitors really can get to grips with end to end production processes that will help them to drive their printing efficiency.’
